I always had an interest in microbiology. One day i decided to try listening to podcasts and found this one. I was instantly hooked and my interest for parasites grew exponentially. I have also decided to buy the textbook Dickson co-authored (Parasitic Diseases).

I really love the enthusiasm and casual, insightful and stimulating way of talking. The personal anecdotes, parts of history, great questions from Vincent, responses to e-mails and special hosts are excellent. Dickson Despommier and Vincent Racaniello really are the perfect duo for this podcast.

No doubt about it, together with TWIV and TWIM a master podcast. Dickson deserves a private audience for his entertaining and knowledgable stories and Vincent so glad you had the insight to start these 3 podcasts and the generosity to share your energy with us. Thanks guys!

Awesome show about parasitism in humans! They podcasts are long but worth it if you have the time. Despommier is an expert on parasitism as well as a good storyteller.
