In this episode of Lyme and Beyond with Tanya, we welcome a very special guest, my good friend Don.  Since connecting via Facebook 2 years ago we have become great friends and it's been an honor to follow his journey and his true strength of resilience. This episode details Don's battle with Lyme disease, which started with a tick bite in his backyard in 2021. He recounts his experiences of dealing with the initial symptoms, receiving a dual diagnosis of Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and the challenges of managing his Lyme symptoms while running a busy PR company. He describes various treatments he undertook, including antibiotics, herbal treatments, colloidal silver, and ozone therapy, and his struggles with severe Herxheimer reactions. Don also discusses the emotional and psychological toll of Lyme disease, the personal growth he experienced, and his optimistic outlook on the other side of his battle.
