Happy to have found this!

Firstly, thank you Dr. Shannon for speaking up, challenging the norm, taking on heat, so that we can benefit from your experience, knowledge and wisdom. I am so happy to have come across you and your classes, methods and philosophy, I have told several people about you already, that I was so relieved to find someone who is so encouraging, real, and does not use the words: ‘no pain, no gain’ to describe what workout should be! I really enjoyed this podcast, very educational. I really appreciate how you try to take every opportunity to teach us something. It was very helpful to understand more about the role of glycogen. For me it is still a struggle to believe that steady state cardio can actually decrease our metabolism! It is hard, mainly because of the way I grew up, believing that going for long runs or walks were the way to lose weight. But I have been listening to you and experiencing in myself the truth, I have done more gentle, slow and steady weight training, following your classes, and I do see the improvement! Thank you so much! I will be tuning in for more, as I see many more subjects that I want to learn more about.
