I'm so honored and grateful to be joined with Greg Cope White, the author of the memoir "The Pink Marine" which was adapted into the Netflix series "Boots". Greg discusses the strong sense of camaraderie and brotherhood that developed among the cast and crew during the filming of "Boots", and how this mirrored his own experience in the Marine Corps.

We explore the themes of homophobia and discrimination that were present in the military, particularly during the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" era. Greg discusses how the show and book aimed to authentically portray these experiences, while also highlighting the resilience and determination of LGBTQ+ service members.

Greg also shares details about his upcoming book, which will continue the story and explore his experiences after leaving the Marine Corps.
