The Shameful Phenomenon of Sundown Towns

The Shameful Phenomenon of Sundown Towns

Tijd: 4:57
What are Sundown Towns?A sundown or sunset town was a city, town or neighbourhood in the US that excluded non-whites after dark.
The term sundown came from the signs that were posted at the Towns borders stating "Negro, Don't Let the Sun Set On You Here." A stark warning that let blacks know we had to leave by sundown.

Quality stuff!

You can tell the guy who makes this does his research and is a professional. The audio mixing is on par with big shows like radiolab, 99% etc.

Interesting!

Have listened to the first episode and already love this. Original stories and the sound edits + great voice add to the story tremendously. Reminds me a bit of Hardcore history but then shorter :) In short, a very nice and interesting podcast! Looking forward to binging the other episodes.
