Doors doors and new insights :)

Over 30 years of Star Trek TNG and they still can find new insights to every episode. Just open any door and watch it all from a different angle. Love to hear both friends enjoying TNG and all their mistakes ;)

Delightfully rambling

I grew up watching TNG and so it’s very funny to revisit it together with Matt and Andy. It is incredibly baffling how bad the first 2-3 seasons are but Matt and Andy’s rambling musings on various subjects are helping get us through until The Best Of Both Worlds. As someone with no background in film or TV I actually really enjoy the behind the scenes info like the rules around residuals and who gets paid for inventing a new character. Hang in there Andy, it gets better. I swear.

Made me watch my childhood favorite show again

So fun to listen you guys both praise and crack jokes on the show. To be honest I'm hoping you guys do this for Ds9 when you finish TNG.
I think next year is the DS9 Anniversary, if I am not mistaken
Thanks for making me love Star Trek again.

StarTrek TNG through the eyes of TV moguls

Star Trek TNG is one of my favourite TV shows.
When I rewatched the series about 2 or 3 years ago, I often was amazed how poorly: written, directed and motivated certain episodes were. My teenage eyes definitely warped what I saw.
So to have two well experienced TV makers (one skeptic Star Wars fan and one TNG fan) being very critical and funny makes for a great TNG PodCast.
