Wat is nieuw in versie 10.3.3

In deze release hebben we de ervaring voor schakelen tussen pc's en externe apps tijdens sessies verbeterd. De huidige pc-sessie is nu gemarkeerd en het sluiten van een sessie met de switcher resulteert in een schoon en deterministisch resultaat.
Daarnaast hebben we een vervelende fout opgelost die een groot aantal crashes veroorzaakte.
We bedanken iedereen die fouten heeft gerapporteerd en met ons heeft gewerkt aan het vaststellen en oplossen van problemen. Als u fouten ondervindt, kunt u contact met ons opnemen via Help > Een probleem melden.

When logging in to the RD Client app, we use 2-step verification.
The app we use for this is Authenticator.
When RD Client is opened on an Iphone or Ipad to log in to a Windows computer, a virtual keyboard is displayed that covers the bar where the security code must be entered.
Also, the virtual keyboard is not usable at all.
The keys don't respond to anything at all.
The display of this keyboard is very unnecessary and annoying.

This is a perfect example of Microsoft and why I love Apple and Linux, it’s total crap!
The program doesn’t work. If you fave a remote desktop server without login and password (local network) the app doesn’t accept it. You need to have a username and password, horrible, you can’t pass it.

After the update I’ve lost all connections previously defined.
Update: force closing doesn’t work. On first launch after the update the app crashes (it closes itself upon start, I suspect during the migration). After I restart the app again it’s empty. Connections and saved credentials are gone.
Update 2: there’s much more wrong with this version. It freezes on random basis, mouse pointer or touch is not functional anymore, you have to force close the app in order to restore functionality. Also, the app crashes randomly. Especially on startup or resume. It’s very unstable :-(

I used this application on my previous iPad (Air), but since 2 weeks i’ve upgraded to an 11 inch iPad Pro. On the iPad Air it was working great. Now on my iPad Pro it’s not working very great.
Altough the application starts and i’m able to setup a remote session, it is not optimized for the iPad Pro screen resolution. Also the touch controls are not as good as it was on the Air, probably because the app is not optimize at all for the Pro 11 inch.
It would be great if Microsoft can update this app, because then i can work on a dayly basis with my iPad and get rid of my notebook when i’m traveling.
