Notifications borked

I have notifications set to “only @mentions” with “@channel and @here” disabled and the channel muted, yet I still get notifications for @here. Additionally, when I get called on desktop I always get a call notification on mobile and when I answer on desktop, the mobile app says I missed the call.

Would be really cool if CarPlay could be supported in the future. Because it makes calling co workers while driving a lot more safe and convenient. Now I have look people up on the phone if I want to make a call on the go.
Somehow sound also goes over to the phone while getting a Slack call after the ringing and picking up does go over the carkit system.

Messages between PC and phone not syncing

I noticed this problem is going for months now. The messages / conversations are not synced. When I’ve already read the messages on my computer and closed the chats from the list, they still are open on my phone and as unread. Now I manually need to open every chat to get them away. Very annoying.

Love slack. But the most recent version keeps showing old messages as new when the app opens. Then it remembers that they are old and the notifications disappear.
And when will video calling come to the mobile app?

I'm a long-time user of Slack and generally very happy with it. But since the last update it's buggy as hell. Unread channels that get marked as read without opening them, which causes me to miss out a lot of communication. So now I have to check every single channel to see if there are some new messages I have missed.
I hope this gets fixed soon because it's literally unusable.

The app is laggy, has a long loading time, and seems to be overall too heavy for my iPad Air 2. While this is an older device, other apps still work smoothly and Slack should still be more optimized for battery life on other devices.

The impossibility of video-call negates all the practicality of using Slack on ipad pro: it would be bvrilliant if one could share the ipad screen during a conversation to make use of the “ paper”. Functionality.
By only having audio calls I must bring a laptop as well, whereas otherqwise I could get by with an ipad alone...

Everytime I get a call on desktop my phone rings and can’t disable that. Phone integration on mobile should be an option you can turn off.

I cant find channels anymore, clicking a header that used to give me the option to find a contact all of a sudden collapses a list, its annoying and doesn’t improve things at all....

When somebody is calling you on slack while you are active on desktop your phone still rings. It's annoying and there is no way to disable it, please give us this option.

The redesign is absolutely horrible, and makes Slack’s only native app look completely non-native. In terms of user experience this update is just devastating. Slack proudly say they changed ‘almost everything’ but why would you change something that is not broken? Change for the sake of change.

Don’t bother using this system in a multinational environment, you will run in to all sorts of administrative issues. Working across regions simply doesn’t work in Slack. The Slack Helpdesk is particularly clueless.
