Als Tripwolf adept was ik reuze teleurgesteld te horen dat zij ermee ophielden. Maar zij vertelden over een opvolger: SmartGuide, waar ik mij meteen voor aanmeldde. Ik heb er thuis mee “gespeeld” en geluisterd naar de korte verhalen over mijn stad, Den Haag. Erg leuk en informatief. Kortom, SmartGuide is een waardige vervanger van Tripwolf, chapeau!

Audio guide not present in TravelGuide

It should be visable in every downloaded travelguide, but it isn’t.
For now, a waste of money!

Je kunt niet ver genoeg inzoomen op de kaart, kleinere straten (centrum) zijn dus onherkenbaar zonder straatnaam. En de ballonnetjes met hotels/restaurants/bezienswaardigheden 1 grote kluwe in beeld. Voor functionaliteiten is toch echt een data verbinding nodig, dit data roaming is erg duur en daar download je dus de offline kaart voor om dit te vermijden. (die dus waardeloos is gebleken) heb maar een kaart gehaald (gratis) bij de VVV Brussel. Gelukkig was dit programma gratis, zo ook de kaarten van Barcelona en Brussel.

Nagenoeg alle regio's, plaatsen of dorpjes zijn te vinden. App houdt zelf rekening met welke kaarten er al Gedownload zijn en past da de grote van de binnen te halen bestanden aan.
Heb het idee dat er een download begrenzer mee loopt. Ik had eerst geen probleem om kaarten te laden. Na een aantal kaarten getankt te hebben, bleef het balkje halverwege hangen. Na een aantal dagen het weer geprobeerd en... Het geen problemen.
Nu nog het toevoegen van data. (oa eetgelegenheden)
