Het inrichten van je entertainment ruimte zou een stuk gebruiksvriendelijker kunnen. Bv over je gehele scherm. Wat het echt 5 sterren zou maken is dat ik de maximale helderheid per lamp in kan stellen. Dat kan in de normale Hue app wel. Alleen in de sync app helaas niet.

App maakt nooit verbinding, wij hebben inmiddels het 3de kastje van Hue Philips Sync. Philips beweerd dat de problemen zijn opgelost maar deze simpele bug is nog steeds niet opgelost. WAAAAAARDELOOS

De app werkt vaak niet dat hij geen verbinding kan maken als de app weer werkt dan werkt hij perfect de
Wel dat de sync hue gevoelig is welke hdmi kabel gebruikt je merkt het aan de hue gradient verlichting dat hij aan en uit gaat om de seconden soms om de 1 min die hdmi bij de sync bij zat is ook niet alles wat in de verpakking zat

Na deze update werkt het niet meer. Kan geen verbinding meer maken en als er dan sporadisch verbinding is kloppen de kleuren en snelheid niet meer met de kleuren op TV. Waardeloos apparaat nu waar je niets mee kan.

Ik ervaar sinds paar maanden veel problemen mee. Na ongeveer 5min stopt de synchroniseren en dan moet je weer opnieuw alles verbinden. Ik dacht dat mijn sync apparaat het niet meer deed. Vandaag omgeruild voor een nieuwe bij de Media Markt en helaas de zelfde proberen blijven aanhouden. Ik hoop dat dit nog via een update opgelost kan worden.

Heb een philps hue sync box aangeschaft alles deed in het begin heel goed totdat de stroom uitging weer aangezet en toen deed de app het niet meer via andere philips app og google home app werkt de lampen wel maar zodra ik de sync box opnieuw instel dan gaat het goed totdat ik met de wifi ben verbonden en de laatste stap werkt niet heeft iemand hier ervaring mee heb van alles geprobeerd maar helaas

Ik mis alleen de functionaliteit om bij muziek de kleuren welke gebruikt worden zelf in te kunnen instellen zoals wel mogelijk is op de desktop app.

Schande schande schande, zoveel geld vragen voor hue producten die ontzettend prijzig zijn. En dan een waardeloze app die een half uur nodig heeft om verbinding met de producten te maken. Vanaf het begin dat de hue sync tekoop was in huis gehaald. In het begin was het echt nog een drama om te bedienen. Niks werkte echt goed. Na een hoop updates durf ik nu te zeggen dat het echt fantastisch is! Zowel de bediening met app als met google hub via spraak. Wel jammer dat me hue verslaving nu alles wilt hebben

Super product van Hue! Als alles werkt is het een mooie toevoeging bij het kijken van films en series. Helaas is er ook nog veel winst te behalen. Er zijn nog te veel connectie fouten tussen mijn av receiver en de box. Helaas niet te verhelpen in de app. Het gaat voornamelijk om de doorstroom van de audio tussen de tv en de box. Hierbij werkt de ARC knop niet bij. Wellicht een mooie kans voor een goede update. En de support van Dolby Vision zou deze box helemaal compleet maken! Hue heeft mij tot dus ver nog nooit teleurgesteld en daarom kan ik niet wachten op bug fixes \ updates bij dit product! Zet hem op!

Krijg mijn hue sync box niet werkend. Net nieuw uit de doos maar hij kan dus niet verbonden worden kan de instellingen dus niet eens afronden. Bij de stap waar gevraagd word of het led lampje blauw knippert. Bij die stap kom ik dus niet verder. En kan ik het apparaat niet eens gebruiken. Kan iemand mij hier mee helpen ??

Na lang proberen en proberen en proberen. Kon ik eindelijk de philips hue sync box aan mijn led strip verbinden en werkend krijgen. Maar nu volgen er een aantal problemen ten eerste kan ik vaak geen verbinding maken met mijn led strip via de sync ap en heel soms wel. Het tweede probleem is veel groter na 10 minuten werken de lichten niet meer via de tv en moet ik constant alles resetten en dan werkt het weer even of soms niet. Ik twijfel nog of ik de sync box hou of hem om ga ruilen voor een ander. Maar het liefst hoop ik dat het via updates verholpen kan worden. Er valt ook vaak beeld weg en danzie je 5 seconden zwart beeld heel irritant

It would be great if Philips give us in the future more options in the entertainment room. Example if I have selected 5 lights it would be great if I can choose 1 light secretive so I can set the maximum brightness of 1 light. Because my Lightstrip brightness under my tv furniture is to high if i select more then one light at the time. Thank you.

After last update, there seems to ben an issue with the HDR handshake when using an Samsung tv 2016 ks7000 in combination with an playstation pro with HDR enabled. The problem dissapeared after I disconnect the HDMI sync box from my setup. Hope for an patch soon.

When you’ve connected it to your HDMI it works flawless. But if you’re switching to a different HDMI source, prepare to restart the app multiple times before it works, because it fails to connect the whole time. Hope they’ll fix this soon because this keeps me from giving it a better score.

Bought the Hue Sync Box a few weeks ago. I'm really happy with the product but somehow it only works sometimes. I often have to reset the Hue Sync Box to make the lights go sync again with the content that is coming off my sources. For a 250 euro product this is somewhat irritating. It happens when you switch to lower resolution content. Especially when you want to connect a desktop to the sync box be ready for some surprises. It just stops working when you watch 720p content. Everything above works perfectly fine. But lower the box freezes and I have to reset it multiple times to get it working again. Also the ability to not switch hdmi sources not with your phone is missing. You always have to touch the physical button on the box and there's not really an indicator which allows you to see to which channel you are switching. Hopefully Signify fixes these bugs in the future cause I love this box but the box doesn't love me :-(

Box is nice but also buggy. I can not get it to work with 6 bulbs. Only 5. I tried many times. I am sure i did it right. Sometimes there are flashes or the connection gets lost. But when ot works it is nice.

Wat een mooie uitbreiding van je Philips hue verlichting.
Gebruik hem veel met Netflix.
Maar met youtube en live dance concerts is de licht effects fantastisch..
Het is net of je er live bij bent ❤️❤️
De Philips syncebox staat tussen mijn samsung soundbar ( dolby atmos)en tv in.....

When it works it works amazingly. Sadly, there are still a few bugs. The sync box always freezes when changing content or going from sdr to hdr (Xbox and PS4 changes those content forms a lot. A brief pause or homescreen check will freeze the sync box)
The lack of dolby vision (and HDR10+) is unacceptable in 2019. Apple TV 4K is therefore not very usefull in combination with the hue sync box. The choice for hdmi 2.0b is also not very futureproof. The next gameconsole will be hdmi 2.1. So no ALLM no Dolby Vision no VRR no 120hz
I stil love the effects though but would not recommend it with the current price and flaws
