Great game. Takes about of getting used to to begin to pass the levels, but gets easier as you work out the best combinations. A lot of fun stuff is locked behind a pay wall, but the original 99p with a promise of no ads is well worth what you are getting. The free scenarios are fun, and you can play the pay scenario’s for free occasionally on events. It’s well worth the price.

Every mode is balanced and so is every plague, however… I have tried doing the Necroa virus on brutal, not mega brutal, 67 times and have failed each time despite using different strategies and even guides from those who have beat it plenty of times… it’s too hard and needs to be a bit easier.

Plague Inc is one of my favourite mobile games. It is very well designed and addictive. It’s god a good variety of difficulties so you can choose your play experience. However, for a game that already costs money to play in the first place, the amount of content locked behind paywalls is ridiculous. Most recently they have locked the cure mode (although this was already said to be a free trial). I’m disappointed that such an amazing game is ruined by greedy developers trying to extort more money out of players.
You have to pay extra to play 90% of the game.

Good game but unless you are prepared to spend up to £50 to unlock other features then I do not recommend buying the game. The cure mode has recently been added to the list of features that you must pay extra for. This means that the features remaining that come with the app are 4 or 5 of the 15 scenarios and the original game mode (which is really hard to complete as you are barely ever given DNA points when ever country is infected).

So you have to pay for custom scenarios and pay to download more than 2 a day? It also doesn’t transfer across devices so if I download one on my iPad and the scenario I downloaded doesn’t show up on my phone but takes up 1 of the 2 daily downloads. This just lowers the replayability since a lot of the scenarios don’t change much and are boring, it will take a while to find a good one.
Other than that the game is good since you can unlock everything else without paying if you play the game.

Absolutely love the game, especially cure mode. But having played the game for so long and all modes so many times it would be nice to have more control over settings. For me an ability to turn off country resistance to measures in cure mode would be great because it makes playing the game without the use of vaccines (as a harder challenge for example) far more difficult. Plus it might be fun to be able to play the simulation and see how measures work without having to worry that one country will get sick of them (pardon the pun) and just decide to allow 800k daily infections regardless of me trying to help them lol.

I love Plague Inc. and I have for many years. This game is amazing, the gameplay is smooth and realistic and simple enough to be picked up by anyone but has enough depth and complexity to be mastered. In spite of all this, I have a suggestion- in light of recent events, I think that it would be a good idea to change the ‘cure’ to a vaccine. Then, the player would be able to strategise around the analysation of the disease, the vaccine development and the global rollout. The abilities could be changed to include things such as single jab resistance and double jab resistance etc. I think this would add a new, interesting element into an already great game, especially now that many have had a closer experience with vaccines during these times. Having said this, the game is fantastic of course, and your decision around this suggestion will not sway my opinion on the game at all. Thank you Ndemic Creations!

I played this game as a kid and found it too hard but recently I have returned to play again and it’s sooooooo goooood! I’ve already gotten to the fungus virus and I just love it. my only complaint is that i guess there’s not much of a difference in the viruses I’ve played (so far) but I don’t care about it that much.
5 star game this should be known about all over the world well done to the games creators you literally got me into gaming thank you for making a masterpiece.

This game is great it is a very fun game especially when bored and does not need wifi which is great! But the problem is that there is a bug when you win in scenarios it says you lose for some reason, i won with black death and fake news but it said “Defeated” both times which i find is very annoying

I know that like 70% of the good reviews on the apple store are just the company’s but this game is legitimately one of the best games made. It has lots of replay ability with it’s different scenarios and it’s cure mode, it has unlocks which makes you want to get different pathogens this is genuinely one of the best strategy games if not one of the best games on the iOS anyway enough fan boying just please it’s well worth the money :)

I like everything about the 2 games. But I think that you(the creator) should do an update for the world tool where you can draw land and sea instead of just having the original earth on EVERY SCENARIO!!!!!!! It could be like a land section and a sea section. You can change the type of land by selecting 4 lands(normal,snow,sand and tropical) then have thousands of types of that land. Then there would also be a Country maker as part of the rename and populate thing with also random places for airports and ports. I think this is the best idea(this will be copied to the outher game and if your reading this ndemic and you do it. I will praise you with 5 stars)

Well the game overall is absolutely amazing. I have loved playing the game and watching others playing it but I have encountered a problem. Every time I play I have noticed that the Philippines are always the last country to infect which is followed closely by Greenland. Whenever I do a challenge or fungus it won’t infect Greenland or the Philippines. I was wondering if I could have some advice on how to infect the Philippines and Greenland faster as cold and heat resistance don’t seem to do anything. I am beginning to think it could be a bug but I don’t think so. The situations I am talking about was where I was playing on casual. So I don’t think it has anything to do with difficulty stuff. Maybe you could make the Philippines and Greenland easier to infect. Also the cheats only seem to come in one big pack that costs £10. Could they perhaps be purchased individually in the next update. I do think that the game is very good but I was hoping Greenland and Philippines were easier maybe. You can leave out the whole buying cheats individually thing if you wish. But please maybe make Greenland easier at the very least. I just wanted to say what was on my mind.

So like a day ago every time i played as something it was always set to the 1st January 1970 and it the time didnt move forward, not event at max speed. Then on the same day it kicked me out (after being pretty laggy and unstable) and set me back like a minute. Now today that happened again and i couldunt infect anyone. I am worried that the game will soon be unplayable. I have been generous you get 3 stars but fix those and 5 stars. Please see this.

Plague inc is a fantastic game that is fun and gets people thinking about how diseases spread and how we can contain them. The only problem that I have found is that I find it practically impossible to pass the first disease (bacteria) on the game mode NORMAL to get the next disease virus. I have tried many times and the cure has been complete right at the end leaving something like 1 million people alive. It just goes suddenly so fast and becomes so hard to slow down but despite this it is a great game as well as the scenario creator and in built scenarios!

I thought I’d write this review, seeing as there are so many people claiming that it’s impossible to get past the first challenge (using bacteria) without paying for additional diseases etc. It’s not true. It is quite difficult and it took me about 8 attempts. A couple of times frustratingly only wiping out about 99.9% of people and failing. However, if you keep it subtle for the majority of the game and pay attention to the news and the weaknesses of countries you’re trying to infect and adapt your strategy accordingly, you should be able to win.
A very addictive game, but once I unlocked viruses it only took me a couple of attempts. Hopefully the other types of diseases are more challenging, as I’m not sure how much replay value there is.

The game is quite easy once you understand the basic mechanics of the game. I wish there was more to it in a harder diffuicility. I would love a “realistic” mode that is inspired by the current pandemic. Such as shut downs being made sooner, the r slowing once lockdown happens (it doesn’t seem to have a major effect except from travel) and maybe a DLC that will put you in charge of WHO and save the planet. Personally I just want it to be harder and more complicated, still a fun game and will still speed run through it. But besides for that I don’t see much of a point of it anymore

So i just bought this game and I’ve been playing it for a solid 4 hours and I can’t for the live of me understand how when every single person on Earth is infected with an insanity virus they can still cure themselves. How can someone create and administer a cure if everyone on the planet is insane ?? Please fix this or just change it because the amount of times I have lost to this is just infuriating.

The best strategy for me that worked is to place the virus in China and wait for panda government to be quiet for a few months until it reaches uncontrollable point where they have to announce officially about pandemic, then of course it is too late... and the whole world has to deal with all this madness later.
Oh, I forgot about the game - it's great! 5 stars totally recommend...

so i downloaded this game ages ago but recently starting using it in 2020 it was really fun i started a new game and didn’t call it anything so was labelled as corona virus haha and, i started it in china because i’ve never actually won the game and it spread really fast especially in china and now has moved into the us and uk and around the asia continent, i will update soon but so far looks god. I did get contacted by the fbi but i think they wanted to know how i was so good at the game haha

This game is addicting, exciting and frustrating at the same time!! However if you are gonna buy this game don’t think you can play it and win every time. In order to win you must take your time especially towards the end of the game. But if your debating whether or not to buy Plague Inc definitely do.

Multiple times I’ve had to close the app and relaunch it after a while because it doesn’t pick up on my touch. I would often miss DNA bubbles or when I try going through the menu it wouldn’t react to anything I touch.
I thought this was my phone but I would exit my app and the phone is working just fine. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, or what, but please try to figure out what is happening to cause this.

I had this installed on my phone within a week of it being released. I love it. I play it everywhere. It very good at it but I find it fascinating. It’s probably the only game that I’ve ever had on my phone that I go back to time and time again. Not on the new iPhone 11 Pro and it was one of the first things I downloaded (BUT all the extension packs have disappeared and asking me to buy them again) and will play constantly! Love it. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

This game is really fun and gives you hours of entertainment. You may be out of by the fact that there are £8 unlock packs that you can buy but if you just play the game on the normal difficulty (one above the lowest, one below the hardest) you can unlock all of the diseases other than 2 which is what I have done. If you do want to unlock it all straight away you do have the option too but it’s not necessary. For 89p this is one of the best games I’ve bought in terms of value for money and it has no ads so I fully recommend it👍

I first brought this on my desktop (Steam) about a year ago and absolutely loved it, so much so I had to get it on my pad, however I stupidly believed I would be getting the same content, but I was wrong and found that so much is locked behind a ‘paywall’ that to get everything would cost more than my original purchase on Steam and worse, I also found that access to the free community made mods also need to be paid for. I’ve kept the five star rating because I enjoy the game but I am disappointed.

This game is on of the best I’ve ever downloaded! It has fantastic graphics addictive gameplay and many different diseases. However, you have to pay for lots of different game modes which is why it’s 95% recommended.I suggest that you should lower the prices of some packs, or simply make them free by completing brutal mode (which you have already done but you could do it for every pack) but overall it’s worth the 79p

This game... this game... For such a thing, disease, which has been the bane of life since life, they manage to make such a horrific and dark subject even more horrific and fun. This game is just pure ingenuity and so fun but sadistic at the same time. Nearly unheard of unless you’re some tyrannical leader oppressing your people. This game is well made, original and well planned out. Five out of five in my book.

This game has suprised me on what it gave for only £1! You would expect this priced games to be trashe, but you would be wrong here. True, some people complain why all of the game is free (it does cost £5 to unlock everything) but you should understand that they worked hard on all of this and they need to make money , they don’t even give ads! I think this game is really worth it even the £5 bit which gives a really interesting game style as you can actually watch your ape grow or your worm dig into the brain. If you like strategy games I really recommend it!

This game is excellent. The fact that it is so simple yet so complicated makes it one of the best games I’ve played on a mobile device.
It is a very difficult game to beat which makes it worth the money. It isn’t difficult in an impossible way, you just need to use your brain. It keeps me occupied without the need of an internet connection.
For the people rating it 1* complaining that it’s a scam and a money grabber: they’re wrong and impatient. You do not need to pay money to win. You unlock one gene modifier each time you successfully eradicate mankind! The option to buy them is there though. The only thing you need to buy in order to play is the DLC, but that’s expected as it’s an extension of the already brilliant game.

I thought that this would be another of those wannabe infect strategy games but this game provides entertainment for hour. Would be a bit better if you could access community levels for free but I understand that the developers need to make a living. Definitely recommend to strategists or people who like turf control games.

The game is great, I've been playing since 2015 and have beat all normal plagues and all but 1 special plague the Shadow Plague. While people call this a cash grab because they aren't unlocking the next plague type, it's because you have to beat it on normal not easy. So stop calling it a cash grab and play on normal and if you still can't beat it, your bad at the game. 10/10 would recommend.

This game is the best game I’ve played in years and it’s super fun, even though there is extra content that’s costs more money there is sooo much to the game without paying more. I love this game but I feel some of the diseases are too hard to win with on normal mode (which is what you need to beat to unlock the next disease). I’ve been stuck on the nano virus for a few months now and can’t seem to beat it. But great game!

I absolutely love this game and would definitely recommend to anyone who is a fan of strategy, or, even anyone with a few pennies to spare! Lots of fun and choices to be made and very good for long journeys by plane. My only problem is that when played a lot in quick succession it can get boring but I always revisit.
I would give it 4.5 bipiramidi that’s not an option so I guess it’s just the devs’ lucky day!

I downloaded this game on my old account when it was in it’s infancy... very quickly told my friends about it and soon we were all trying to beat each other In finishing off humanity! Just downloaded it to my new account, and glad to see it still has me hooked from patient zero onwards! Buy it!

I think this is a brilliant realistic game, but obviously it comes with a price. Judging off the photos when I was observing the app, it did not mention that the other plagues cost out of game money. Later, I noticed the description that said that the other plagues cost money. I would love it even if you would just make 1 of the current plagues free. Or invent a new free one. Overall, brilliant game-still not won yet-definitely worth the money and I would honestly expect it to cost around £3.99! Thanks

I’m having so much fun with this game. How simple but yet so magnificent. I’ve read other comments here saying you can’t progress unless you pay. Not true. Okay yes you need a hell of a lot of patience, and have to keep trying different methods, but it can be done. I’m on level virus 5 now, played on normal. Love that I know this level will last a good few days before I complete. Frustrating, but I keep coming back. Brill game

New update, new update is great, new challenges are great however, I’m not sure how to get everything I want without spending a tonne of money on the game, maybe I’m just looking at the wrong purchase options.. there are some things that would make this game unbeatable.. news paper articles popping up on the screen, fake video clips or pictures of people getting the disease, the possibility of a co op controlled disease, city names or being able to focus on countries instead of the world, changing scenery, countries crossed off with an x when all inhabitants are dead... but that would make the game immense, the game now is fantastic and is such a time consumer, perfect for hour long bus rides or waiting for your misses to get ready, keep the updates coming guys I will never delete or stop playing! 😁

This game is one of the best I've ever put on my phone. It doesn't require an internet connection (very convenient) and gets me hooked on gameplay for hours on end. Its shady background music and graphics fully immerse you in the eerie delight of wiping out the human race. Frankly, I'm sure no other game would make you want to kill people more than this one.
Although quite hard to win (I've only won once on Casual so far) it really makes you think about how to go about doing it, instead of making it too easy so just about anyone can beat it - I've even written down a plan to beat the game with Bacteria (I don't know if it will work yet, but only time will tell). It also makes you realise that if a human could control a disease, it would be our downfall.
Overall, Plague Inc. is an extremely entertaining and accurate, in a kind of morbid way. All for less than the cost of a song. Well worth the money, in my opinion.

I’ve only just started playing this game again recently, and i’ve been addicted to it ever since. I’m trying to complete every disease type on mega brutal and i’ve been stuck on the prion disease (brutal) for around 2 days now (bearing in mind i’ve been doing them on average around 1 hour per brutal.) I’m not sure if im just bad at the game or the game is too difficult, i seen to get off to a good start every game but towards the end it just seems to take years for my symptoms to actually kick in, i know the whole point of the prion is that it takes time for symptoms to kick in but it really does (in my opinion) take waaaaay too long for them to kick in. Overall i think that the game is very well made but could use a few nerfs in how the prion “symptom delay” works.

So a great game turned into a cashgrab, I have read many reviews and of course seen 5 star ratings, the issue is most of those are people who don’t play for long. As most, included me realise trying to win on normal is pointless, but you can’t unlock anything on easy to gain access to perks. I thought maybe different techniques but nothing changed.
This game is a strategy players disappointment, a concept so great but forces the player to pay for the other modes due to it being so unbalanced. A huge slap in the face of players and people who actual brought into it.
After spending money myself, the least I expect of you, is to update the balance do it’s fairly, can actually advance without paying to do so.

A good fun game keeps you occupied but is impossible to win unless you spend money the cure is faster the better you do and ends up 4x faster than you can play and earn points the only way to win is on easy level but then you can not progress unless you go to a higher level which is impossible to win.
Guys sort this out, I played this when it was three to get and it was perfect, very challenging but was possible to win, now it’s just a rip off, I refuse to buy anything when you are being ripped off and forced to do so....
Download if you are willing not to spend more money and win only on easy, if not, AVOID like a bad rash

Granted I’ve only just restarted playing this recently and it is neither a fast game nor do I win often or even keep at the same game a lot. But something about killing off the world is eerie in the best kind of way. Wish you’d include more film based things. I keep creating the Rage virus from 28 Days Later which is cool and all (and I know the lack of graphics means I can use my imagination) but I’d love if I could tailor a zombie like outbreak in the game, or even have a set version of rage to try and take over the world.
Side note: I’m sure it’s a lot of effort but how about doing small scale infect a country. As a U.K. fan it would be great if I could strategically try and take out the U.K. bit by bit with the rage virus.
If you can’t tell, I happen to like this game and 28 days later ALOT! And in those late game stages when I’ve wiped out most of the world, the 28 days later theme becomes THE BEST accompanying music to this game, really intense and I really feel like a monster.
It’s a perfect game, I can only give those couple of suggestions to make it better. Otherwise flawless game which I’ve enjoyed for several years now

I love the game, and I would agree with other reviews in that it is the best of its genre. I have played the game many times but cannot get past the first game type! I am usually really good at these sorts of games, so this one was very strange when no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't let me win. My friends all have this game as I recommended it to them, but they can't win it either. I am begging to think that this game is rigged so that it is impossible to win and you have to buy the next modes. Please get back to me with an answer for this

This is an awesome game, the only thing i would kind of hope to see is a little more differentiation between the plagues as a nano virus has the same abilities as a fungus? It doesn't feel like i'm controlling millions of nano machines and the same with other ones. Not so much difference like the special ones just a bit more definition. Other than that it is a great game and would love to see a new "Alien" virus in the future

I remember buying this game years ago when it first came out, was the only game I could play over and over even without getting bored even though there's no graphics or fast gameplay . However playing it recently they've added a hell of a lot of paid content now. I paid for one special strain of a virus or plague etc the vampire one just to make the game a bit more dynamic, worked a treat but now there's a whole list of other "scenarios" "Gameplay modes" "plague variants" and "cheats" to pay for. Obviously it's all about money but maybe too much so with this game now, still fun to play though.

I have played a few of these 'infection' type games, and for me this is the clear best. Loads of different modes, a lot of free content and also to purchase for a reasonable price if you go through all the free content (which would be a challenge in itself!) warning though, highly addictive, and it doesn't get old or boring.
Tactical, strategic, intelligent gaming. If you like these things you will love Plaque.
I recently wrote to the developer of this game, who come straight back to me with great friendliness and is genuinely a good guy, which is a breath of fresh air.
Whilst you may argue this has nothing to do with the game, I believe it does as it reflects the kind nature of his work, and generosity to give us such a game for free!
Would recommend to anyone to get this game.

I love this game as it is a great way to kill time and isn't as easy as one would presume. New addition of custom scenarios is great but could use a little boost i.e. able to get all gene buffs and improvements for free over a prolonged amount of time. However if you were to ask me if it is worth getting I wouldn't even think to say no. Keep up the great work!
