An atmospheric river dumps more water in our area than the ground can handle, flooding part of the Mystic Wood. We avoid the woodland, except for me checking on Rebecca the Imp, to make certain she's okay.

Rowan calls me during the storms. A ghost is haunting her house and she can't seem to exorcise him. I come over to help, and we find ourselves plunged into a mystery that stretches back over one hundred years, that first began because of a secret pact between Rowan and my great-grandmother Colleen.

Now, the only way to exorcise Rowan's ghost is to bring the secret to light and lay it to rest, once and for all.
