Growing numbers of the social service workforce are working with people with dementia every day. A dementia skilled, confident and person-centred workforce will play a significant role in ensuring that people with dementia, their families and carers experience a good quality of life. Workers in adult social service settings have told us that they need to be better informed and better skilled to work well with people with dementia. This book will support the social service workforce to develop knowledge and practice the skills they need.
