Anne Truitt (1921 - 2004) was a sculptor, painter, mother, and grandmother. Her journals provide both illumination and nourishment. This is the journal of an artist, as well as "an extraordinary woman: sensitive, intelligent, perceptive." (Doris Grumbach).
