IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Installation and setup
Please note that since iPod touch and iPad (WiFi only) do not have built-in GPS-receivers, an external GPS-receiver is required. Only those receivers are compatible, which are officially supported by Apple. Due to the size of the package and certain In-App items, we recommend purchasing and downloading the application, In-App items or updates through WiFi or fixed line Internet access via the iTunes software installed on a personal computer.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Background navigation has to be turned on while using the application; you can do this under "Settings / Advanced settings" in iOS 7.

I am one of the guy who made IGO in 2007ish and it was the best from the best. Today, after 10+ years later it is the worst.
So said and disappointed to see what NNG did with this great product.

FINALLY A MAP UPDATE FOR EUROPE and THE USA, 2018 Q1 !!
I love this app but at this moment i am very disapointed about the map update frequency.
Finally updates came last week, i hope it doesn’t take another 2 years for the next update.
Try Magic Earth, it’s a free app and it works great!!

I bought 2 igo apps for north america and Israel. Both don’t work anymore with latest IOS version. Money gone. Do not use these Apps.

App has an old fashioned look but i like it.
Thing that brings down the rating the most is the think that always has been an issue with iGO; old outdated maps.
This has been an issue for years now and i don't understand why they can't update more. Even apps that are completely free have better more up-to-date maps. I expect, actually demand, more from a premium priced payed app.
Second thing is the live traffic information which is totally inaccurate and therefore completely useless. 5 minutes delay on a two lane road in both directions with 4 cars on it... really. The app just mark roads as congested totally random by throwing dice in the background or something.
iGO definitely has potential but its not doing well with the (free) competition getting stronger while iGO is standing still for years and not improving on its biggest shortcomings.

You can add an unlimited number of stops when you plan a trip. This is a great advantage for me as a proffesional cabdriver.
The app is very flexible once you have learned to work with it.
The screensize is a bit to small, but I changed the screensettings of my iPhone: problem solved.
There’s one issue: it’s nice that you receive lifetime map-updates, but there’s no place to download them.

Na jaren met veel plezier IGO Primo te hebben gebruikt is deze niet meer compatibel met IOS. Er is een nieuwe versie uitgebracht echter kan je de GEKOCHTE licentie niet overzetten en kan je dus nog een keer betalen voor dezelfde navigatie !!! 😡

A few days ago I downloaded the app and extra's for about €65 and yesterday evening I found out that the A1 highway to Amsterdam between intersection A1/A6 and A1/A9 in Holland which is renewed SPRING 2017 completely is not on your map and I drove into no man's land.
On the way back to the intersection A1/A6 the app completely messed up.

Extra gekocht voor truck navigatie, echter is slecht. Stuurt je gewoon dwars door luik en andere voor vrachtauto verboden gebieden. Dacht dat update misschien beter was, is echter niet het geval.

Hugely disappointed with this app. After an update all my maps are gone. Information on their website how to recuperate purchases doesn't work. So i have spent my money on a worthless app. Tried to contact their support team. While pushing the send button, suddenly page disappears. What a nightmare.

This is clearly better than most other navigation apps. It's accurate, quick and reliaible. But the maps are from Q3 2015. And now it is already 2017!
