Edit: receiving sometimes mail from allianz that i made a claim while i did not, also the offers on metal are meh.. the prepaid pass and app is very good and secure though, but probably will downgrade to a lower budget one from N26, basically paying 16,90 euro for not much every month ^^

Unbelievable bad support
Maybe the card is a good value for money, the App and their support are definitely NOT.
Chat support is as slow as can be, support via chat is below any level and as a result I get an email to send a survey of my support I didn’t get! My certification would be altered and further information to help me shiuld I receive in a minute. That minute is about 3 weeks now. Nothing changed. Still can’t log in with the App. Support isn’t reachable.
I’ve never seen such a bad support with a financial company.

N26 is ok as a limited bank but the more exciting features are limited:
Tags can be used to categorize money but you cannot use it in reports.
Categories are useable in report but you cannot create them and if you have a business account they have a category called business expenses… not much categorizing possible here with one category…

Great but shared space recommendation
I love the app, the simplicity and that I can track my spending, save up and round up spending to save. It’s many levels better than my traditional bank. My only issues are the following: I’d love to be able to pay directly from a specific space. For example when using a shared space, it’d be nice to pay out of it almost like a joint account. Or even if I’ve saved up for something specific and want to buy that thing, rather than having to transfer the money to the main account, it’d be great if I could pay out straight of that space.
Second thing is the chat customer service for some reason takes ages in the Netherlands. Haven’t ever been able to reach anyone except via the hotline. In Spain I used to be able to chat to customer service quite quick. Not sure why it’s different.

Good but bad user updates
Customer for a long time now and very satisfied with the simplicity.
Although the basics are good the ‘great news!’ updates are not so great but rather frustrating.. I don’t need the option to change my screen icon into a rainbow icon or those stupid gimmicks.
I need proper bank user updates, for example: it would be a game changer if I can switch my bank card in the app to different spaces or setup a personal user start screen.
N26 was exciting as a startup but now they are just another online bank and that’s disappointing.

Slechtste bank ooit.
Je ziet hier alleen goede reviews maar geloof me, deze bank is niet zo goed als het lijkt.
N26 staat er om bekend dat ze totaal niet helpen als je hulp nodig hebt. De klantenservice is echt om van te janken.
Daarnaast heeft N26 ook nog is mijn account permanent gesloten waar meer dan €1000 op stond.
Ik word niet geholpen via de app support, mail, twitter en op andere social media’s ben ik geblokkeerd.

Apple Pay failure
Repeated failure to pay with apple pay. 9 out of 10 times. The card is being refused at a Dutch pay terminal. Reinstallation makes no improvements. Not only frustrating, it’s moreover embarrassing to stay there and being confronted with refused payment in front of ten shopkeeper. RABO or ING are helping me out with No Rejection. Of NoUse if you can’t built on it.

Easy and especially nice for online purchases
As anonymous debet cards were “banned” by our gouvernement, I searched for the best alternatives. N26 (free) is easy in use, and as long ass you don’t want to have Credit, it’s ideally for online purchases. (Less information on the internet floating around of your “regular” bank account by using N26, which is just a little bit saver. As I only use N26 for online purchases, I can’t see any advantage from having a paid N26 account.

Top alternatief voor Bunq
Gebruik code stevenjv2045 tijdens het maken van je account voor gratis 25 euro
Na jaren klant te zien geweest bij Bunq heb ik besloten om toch weg te gaan wegens de bomen epidemie... na een tijd te hebben gezocht ben ik op NB26 gestuit. N26 heeft een helemaal mooie app en diverse verschillende abonnementen, maar ook met de gratis abonnement kan je makkelijk voorruit.
Verder heeft N26 een klantenservice die goed bereikbaar is zelfs op zondag! Het enige nadeel van N26 is het gebrek aan Ideal ondersteuning. Hopelijk komt het dit jaar nog.
Kortom een moderne bank met de pluspunten van traditionele banken (lees klantenservice)

Tot nu toe prima
Eigenlijk wilde ik N26 gebruiken als vaste lasten rekening. Maar mijn hypotheek verstrekker wil NL IBAN. Dus nu gebruik ik N26 voor boodschappen etc. Er zijn wel een aantal belangrijke dingen waar je rekening mee moet houden.
- Apple Pay helaas alleen op MasterCard. Please ook op Maestro Card!!
- Appie accepteert geen Apple Pay op de MasterCard. (Creditcard wordt niet geaccepteerd)Jumbo weer wel. Geen idee welke winkels nog meer niet.
Nu begrijp ik de mensen die roepen: graag Apple Pay op Maestro Card.
- Er is geen instant payments. (binnen 5 seconden geld overgemaakt op andere IBAN)
- Geen iDeal (logisch bij een buitenlandse bank)
Ik weet niet of ik voor mijn dagelijkse uitgaven deze bank blijf gebruiken.
Even afwachten nog.

Almost perfect
I really like the app but there are some items that would make it successful in the Netherlands:
- Adding the ability to add the Maestro card to Apple Pay will make it a fully mobile bank. MasterCard Apple Pay even though it’s a debit card is not commonly accepted in Dutch shops.
- Integrate with iDeal the most common payment method for Dutch online webshops
- Recent transfer recipient names are cut off and thus if names are similar not very clear which account you are about to transfer money too. There is also no option to edit them.

Het zo makkelijk aanmelden is niet zo makkelijk
Of er is iets mis met de software of n26 word gerund door een paar debielen, kan niet eens voorbij de identiteits controle komen. Al 2 keer een fout ook al was alles correct ingevuld. En hun klantenservice kan je niet bereiken via de app als je niet voorbij dat proces komt. Erg handig.... voor de rest kan ik niet heel veel klagen over de klantenservice wegens de huidige crisis waar we inzitten daarom de twee sterren.

valeriol7860 de code om 15 euro op de kaart te krijgen na elke transactie van 15 euro Ik gebruik N26 al 2 jaar en ik ben er volledig tevreden mee, het account opent in ongeveer 10 minuten via uw smartphone, na het openen van het account de kaart komt binnen 4 dagen thuis, echt mooi, transparant en je moet hem activeren in de app, het account is echt slim, je kunt alles doen vanaf je smartphone, opnames bij elke geldautomaat in binnen- en buitenland zijn volledig gratis, transfers in het SEPA-gebied ze zijn gratis en arriveren in minder dan 24 uur, assistentie in de app goed aanwezig, echt gebruiksvriendelijke applicatie, de rekening kan momenteel alleen worden gevoed via een bankoverschrijving of contant via de cash26-service in deelnemende supermarkten, uiteindelijk zou ik het aanraden omdat in tegenstelling tot van de andere accounts is volledig gratis.

Top betaalrekening - gebruik eenmanszaak
Ik heb de rekening nu denk ik bijna een jaar. Bijzonder tevreden. Van het openen van de rekening als het tussentijds vragen stellen. Erg tevreden over het kunnen maken van potjes. Goed voor bijvoorbeeld opzij zetten btw of ib of andere spaardoelen. Bij de transacties kun je foto’s toevoegen. Handig om terug te kijken en voor de administratie. Aanrader.
Ideaal voor de zzp’er. Je kunt evt ook betalingen vanuit Mollie ontvangen. Je moet er alleen even voor e-mailen naar Mollie.
Ik heb op dit moment nog geen echte beperkingen ondervonden. Tja, lay-out kun je verder weinig mee. Voor mij is dat geen issue.

I was impressed until I started making my spaces and found out only two are allowed. Poorly communicated. As I am not going to pay €9,90 for a few more spaces I am not sure N26 is going to serve me very long. One star for every space..... so give my 5 spaces for free at least!

When one has an request that goes a bit outside of support agent script, they don’t want to help you. Sending you again and again template phrases over chat wasting your time. They refuse to escalate your request. Is this the support that you want to receive from someone who keeps your money? How is that better than regular banks where you can call or get to the office? People should run away from such “banks”. I can understand that you are new, but it looks like you don’t to be better.

Help me! I want to verify my account but when I open the camera to snap my ID-card the app freezes... kinda, I can go back but the camera stops working. Can you guys solve this issue please?

Of you guys want to take off here in The Netherlands you need to support the Dutch iDeal payment System. You already support maestro. So that’s good. And I personally like to see is that you can use a business and Personal account in one app. Last time I checked it could not be done.
