We've had all this time at home, yet we have barely harnessed the powers of meditation. Ah well, that's ok. It's been yet another tough year. In the meantime, we'll stick to watching masters of chi defeat superhuman opponents.
We do, however, have lots of chi-cken for you to order on GrabFood. Any day you want, done in many ways. Perhaps you'd like some with chi-eese? Or Korean style with kim-chi?

Crazy prices!
I used Grab before and found it quite useful. However, now the prices are really disturbing in Phuket, Thailand. Before I could get Grab transport for around 750 baht to the airport. A few days ago I had to go there and the prices were up to 1500 baht. Double, ridiculous! The app said it was due to high demand at the moment. However, there were hardly any tourists left in Phuket (due to corona) and there are now lots of local people in need of work. Through a friend (so without Grab) I found a good taxi driver who brought me quickly to the airport for just 600 baht. Not a lot of traffic, airport almost empty. What high demand?
Maybe Grab thinks they can ask such prices because they are a dominant player in the market.

Great way of transportation
Since we travel at least 1-2 times a year to Malaysia, this is our go-to app for transporation mostly. In general very quick car available and fair prices.

App does not work properly, making it useless
Since i created an account with Grab, i haven't been able to add a Credit Card in my payments. the app indicates a "server problem " when trying to add a CC, but the server problem has been constant in the last 3 months. It kinds of defeat the purpose of this service, since the app offers limited ability to change settings, profiles or even functioning normally.

Great app until it’s not
Great app I have used several months for travel and food. Suddenly it no longer worked, potentially after an update two weeks ago. Issue resolution is tedious and slow, still not resolved after over two weeks. Seems related to data issue, spent hours helping to identify the issue, poor customer service, still not resolved and radio silence for over a week now.

1 stop before pickup?! So annoying
We travel a lot through whole Asia and some times we use grab. How often we’ve waited an hour or more, while grab told us the waiting time is about 5 to 15min. Or a driver a accepts the request but has 1 stop to go, which means the same; very long waiting time, much more than informed. Don’t like that drivers have that option, nice for them, very inefficient for the client. We rather don’t use Grab at al anywhere and luckily we have some other options. But when we do (need to) use grab, better assume we have to book half hour to an hour in advanced.

I can’t add my card to the app
Could be a great app but it doesn’t allow me to add my card. It keeps telling me the server is not responding? Game over. #appfail

Great app, but
Love the app, but what should be improved is that Grab food drivers should only set the ‘Order collected’ when they actually have the order. It would make the user experience way better. Now almost all drivers immediately set the delivery status go ‘order collected’ to make it easy for themselves so they dont have to do it when they leave the restaurant. For the user this makes planning harder. Often the grab app says that the order will arrive in 7-10 minutes (based on route distance), but meanwhile the driver is still waiting for food for another 30 minutes).

Battery Consumption
Very useful app. While not always cheaper than getting a taxi yourself, this is a safe alternative that can help you avoid scams in certain countries. However, one big disappointment is how much battery using the application costs. Just looking for a driver can already cost you 10% easily, let alone if it cannot find a driver quickly or if you want to check the route your driver is taking. Hopefully Grab will make their future updates more battery friendly.

Good app the only really annoying things are the missing option to use a saved place as default and that you cannot change the delivery location after ordering food. Otherwise 5 stars.

Shittiest service and app
Literally already had several grab accounts, each time of downloading it again you have to log in again with a new account. It is not clear where to fill in all your cc details and how to easy and quickly order a taxi through this app. Wishing grab never bought uber. Step up your game grab

The app works fine. It sad that it isn’t working for long distance drive, for example from Singapore to Melacca (Malaysia). But maybe that has to do something with the government. I spoke with a grab driver and I personally think that the commission is way to high; 25 percent.

Not always a driver and so much spam
After 10 in the evening almost no drives available. In the app settings you can choose to switch of the spam but they say it takes up to 30 days...... I’m waiting now 40 days and still they send sms.

Great if you want to be stranded...
If you’re flying to Singapore, remember that you may not be able to use a tourist SIM for Grab. Tourist numbers get reused, so Grab might have your new card registered to an old email of someone else. And there’s ZERO live support - we were stuck at Changi and had to take a normal cab. Emailed support but never heard back. Very poor support - with Grab, you’re lucky or you’re not.

Werkt niet prettig voor jou als klant
Net geinstalleerd. Tot 3 x achter elkaar bij een aanvraag voor een rit accepteren chauffeurs de rit van je. Ze moesten echter eerst nog iemand anders wegbrengen en vervolgens kon ik 25 minuten wachten en de chauffeur niet wegklikken om een andere aan te vragen. Raar dat een chauffeur die rit dan kan accepteren. Grab stuurt je direct een ‘blokkade’ op je functionaliteit om een chauffeur te boeken, tenzij je jouw cc gegevens geeft zodat ze de rit wél af kunnen schrijven als jij deze weigert vanwege lang wachten op een chauffeur die niet eens bij je in de buurt is en dus nog anderen weg moet brengen . . . Geen Grab meer voor mij dus.

Drivers speed to get more rides
I'm afraid I have reached the end of my Grab days :( really loved the app but lately have experienced and increased feeling of unsafety on the bikes. I understand the motorbike drivers want to get as many rides as possible to earn more money, but unfortunately this often results in drivers driving way too fast. I tried to ignore this feeling and thought I was just being fussy, but two days ago a driver crashed into another bike because he was driving too fast. We all fell of the bike and we were extremely lucky we didn't get hurt bad, only my leg is bruised and something inside my foot hurts, probably have to get that checked out.
Really sad things had to happen like this, grab bikes just drive too fast!
*I love using Grab! It's so easy, especially in a place without public transport. I just don't understand why drivers always call you, is that policy? I mean, they accept your ride, see your location, I can see where they are and they can see where I am, why always the phone call?*
