Nice but very frustrating!
I like the articles and often open one from my homepage widget. But what is frustrating and reason to stop using the app is this: when I am reading an article and click on highlighted words (on purpose or not), when I go back the article is gone. And the headline is gone from my widget. I CAN NEVER FIND MY ARTICLES AGAIN!
Please implement some sort of history so I can find articles again.

App pushes me to advertisement page
This application drives me entirely crazy. Since short it shows an advertisement on top of the screen and when you press the cross to close it it scrolls you completely to the back to the start instead of closing. Additionally how they are tracking you and seemingly no way out of it, showing me content that at opening is blocked, made me decide in the end to delete my account.

Mooi, overzichtelijk, eigen inhoud... Flipboard is pure verwennerij. Toch elke weer de teleurstelling dat de verversing van items uren schijnt te moeten duren.... Niet echt passend bij doel en medium.

Ik gebruik het als receptenboek. Verschillende magazines aangemaakt per categorie en vanuit bijvoorbeeld Safari is het makkelijk te flippen naar een van deze magazines. Hoop op een backup functie in de toekomst

Slower and slower lately
Been using Flipboard for years, really appreciate it, but lately it's been getting slower and slower. Flipping through pages has big delays (flip a page, nothing happens for seconds). Opening an article has similar problems. I don't know if it's because of iOS14 but I feel the problems started around the time I updated.

Not yet ready for magic keyboard
Flipboard is awesome! Two things I would love to see fixed for a 5 star:
- I hate it that you have to tap the back arrow in the left corner to come back to your categories. The pinch to go back, or any other large multi touch gesture would be awesome
- The new magic keyboard offers a great experience with the trackpad. Would be nice if you could flip with two finger gesture. <3

I don’t care what Megan Markle is doing or if some NBA player likes henessy. Your push notifications are terrible and you should feel bad. Share some actual, interesting news relevant to the future of the human race or quit it and sell gossip

Battery muncher
With all background update settings set to off this app is still active in the background for hours each day (9+ for the last few days). Nice content, but not worth the battery life!

Top and flop
Although I’m a fan of this app. It has it up and downs. After the last update is doesn’t update the artikels anymore. I have the same articles for a couple of days. It uses a lot of data and battery. I hope that the solve the updating. Because the Articles are interesting. Except for the commercials and required subscriptions. The should lose these providers.
Update: After contacting the support they resolved the article refresh issue quickly with just one suggestion. That’s great service. Thanks.

Love it but please resolve updates
Love Flipboard and use the ‘old’ way of flipping the articles. But since last update the first few pages keep showing the same newsitems. Please resolve and I’ll give back the 5 stars.

More Customization Needed
Don’t get me wrong, I love Flipboard and use it everyday. The app could be improved by allowing me the option to disregard some sources in my newsfeed. For instance, I have absolutely no interest in Bollywood (Indian cinema) but there is no way to delete the abundance of articles on this matter from my Entertainment-feed. Otherwise great app!

Intruders
I enjoy Flipboard, especially culture news, but don’t appreciate news sources like Daily Mail and The Telegraph appearing when I have muted them. Now Fox News has intruded on my feed. Can’t seem to get rid of them. Do I have to reduce my topics to get rid of them?

Horrible app
What a horrible app, adds are everywhere.
Every window you open there is a video add starting that you can only kill after 10-15 sec I hate it. I used to use Flipboard a lot but recently it annoys me beyond comprehension up to the point I deleted it from my ipad

Flipboard is great. You get your articles based on what you like. But the whole US politics thing...do not read the comments...it’s just gross. Flipboard should do something about fake profiles.

Sometimes it takes more than 10 mins to load a single page. But often the app works fine.

On my way to churning
Slow app, app content does not switch after switching region, more and more ads inserted inbetween the content, keep seeing the unicef ad (looks like a fallback; if you're so keen on monetizing more, at least show me diverse ads). Too many sites included in the content mix which have a pay wall. Too many mistakes in content tagging (not sure why but international politics/geopolitics is often used in US political news. All the tweets are useless.
I'm now passively looking out for a replacement of flipboard. (It's a shame apple news is not available in NL).

Slower and slower
With each update to the app page turning is becoming slower and slower. I recently replaced my old ipad mini 1 with a state of the art mini 5. But it has not helped a lot. The app seems to be missing any cache/download ahead scheme to speed up page turning.
Also the first page turn at a new section always displays some vague after image of an unknown page before displaying the actual page. Super not cool.

I love the concept, the flipping, the way you set up your tastes.
What I don’t like? 80% of content forces you to subscribe to some other 3rd party service to be viewable. How does this make any sense?

What happened
We recently identified unauthorized access to some of our databases containing certain Flipboard users’ account information, including account credentials. In response to this discovery, we immediately launched an investigation and an external security firm was engaged to assist. Findings from the investigation indicate an unauthorized person accessed and potentially obtained copies of certain databases containing Flipboard user information between June 2, 2018 and March 23, 2019 and between April 21 - 22, 2019.
What information was involved
The databases involved may have contained your name, Flipboard username, cryptographically protected password and email address.

Pls remove source layout
Nice app but it annoys me a lot that you can hardly read the articles because it uses the original layout/formatting of the source article. Why not strip it out altogether (just like Pocket does). That would make this app so much better.

Zeer agressieve manier advertenties
Flipboard moet ook geld verdienen, maar doet dit door steeds agressievere manier van advertenties toe te voegen tussen de artikelen. De laatste in de vorm van een @zalando filmpje dat automatisch begint te spelen en niet te onderdrukken valt. Na vier keer het zelfde filmpje te hebben gezien heb ik de app maar gesloten...
