The United States Tennis Association is pleased to offer the official app for the 2021 US Open Tennis Championships, designed and developed by IBM. Stay up to date during the lead up to the US Open with news, photos, videos, tournament schedule, and alerts.

Fantasy Tennis
US Open Fantasy Tennis, presented by IBM, is a free-to-play game allowing fans to create their very own tennis roster during the 2021 US Open. Join the game at any time starting Aug. 24th. Registration is open until the start of the Round of 16.
Mobile Food Ordering
New for 2021, Mobile Food Ordering gives you the option to purchase food and drinks from select food locations around the grounds for contactless pickup.
Virtual Grounds
Drop into the Virtual Grounds for a variety of content including virtual shopping in the US Open Collection, games in sponsor booths, live practice streams, and the chance to win prizes in a multi-day scavenger hunt. One lucky winner will win the ultimate prize of prime 2022 US Open tickets!

Peek into the US Open with live commentary from around the grounds and covering your favorite matches. Live at the US Open will be your eyes and ears on the grounds of the US Open providing up-to-the-minute news, match highlights, photos, and more.

Player favorites
Normally, you can search or scroll through a list of players and favorite them, so that you can get alerts for your favorites. I can't find this option in the app. You can browse through the schedule and by clicking on a name, you can favorite a player. It works, but isn't very practical.
It could be that this has been changed in the last update (although that isn't announced). I can't install this update, because it's too big and I haven't got enough space.
UPDATE: it was indeed in the update, so with it you can pick your favorites in the usual way.

Spelers alert niet te vinden
Ik heb in de hele app gezocht om de ‘alert’ te vinden om spelers te volgen. Bij andere apps van grand slams zijn die altijd gemakkelijk in te stellen. Dat mis ik in deze app.

Dag 5 is in volle gang, maar een speelschema is er nog niet. Slechts 1 voorbeeld van de vele tekortkomingen van deze app. De ATP-app is zoveel beter.

NL-rolstoeltennisers vormen de wereldtop. Zij tennissen ook daar. Niet via deze app te volgen. De apps van Wimbledon & Roland Garros-app zijn meer pro. Met de resp. apps was volgen tijdens de toernooien wel mogelijk ... Kortom: delete :s

Een geweldige applicatie wat alles in zich heeft. Order off play, schema's, live radio coverage, stadion overview (erg handig bij het bestellen van kaartjes), uitslagen, news berichten en nog veel meer!
