** About auto-renewable subscriptions:

Beste catalogus app voor boeken
Ik werk professioneel al dertig jaar met catalogus-/bibliotheek programma's (bv Axiell/Adlib,Pica,Book Crawler), maar geen enkel programma werkt zo goed en snel als CLZ Books. Het ontlenen van metadata werkt in heel veel gevallen erg goed en scheelt je veel tijd. Het terugzoeken èn vinden van titels werkt ook steeds beter!!! Veel bibliotheekprogramma's kunnen hier een voorbeeld aan nemen.

Perfect and easy to use
This is by far the best app I could find to catalogue my book collection. It’s super easy to use: just scan the EAN barcode or enter the ISBN #. It uses multiple databases to find you book and displays a wealth of information. Highly recommended!
Btw the other CLZ apps are great too, I also use CLZ Music and CLZ Movies.

A must for book lovers with a library
Being a true book idiot with more than 2000 books in my library I am using CLZ books on all my platforms. Started many years ago with the database Book Collector on Windows. Now since at least 5 years also on my iPhone and iPad. Very reliable tool suite, a must for booklovers and Alwin and his crew are working on improvements. Always my library overview with me. Fast and data access through the cloud. Thanks and kudos to the team from a grateful user. 5 stars are really deserved!

Behoud het overzicht van je boeken verzameling
Met een steeds maar groeiende collectie boeken, fysiek en op de ereader, is het lastig om het overzicht te bewaren. Je staat in de boekwinkel en ziet een boek van je favoriete schrijver en vraagt je af “ken ik dat boek”? Staat het op de ereader of heb ik het fysiek? Heb ik het al gelezen? Voor al dit soort vragen is het handig om al je boeken te registreren in de CLZ Books database zodat je nog vanuit de boekwinkel je collectie kan opvragen. Fijn ook dat je het kan registreren wanneer je een boek uitleent en aan wie.
Het registreren van je boeken in de database ging zeer snel door het scannen van de barcode. Alle relevante gegevens worden dan opgehaald waarna je alleen nog maar hoef te bevestigen dat dit het juiste boek is. Kortom, ik ben erg tevreden over deze app met bijbehorende database.

Al jaren in gebruik tot volle tevredenheid
Prachtige app, heb er vele honderden boeken instaan. Weet nu precies welke boeken ik al heb, vroeger kocht ik weleens een boek dubbel maar dat is verleden tijd. Alle details staan erin, vele handige statistieken en selectie-mogelijkheden. Ook support is fantastisch, heb ze in al die jaren maar 2 keer nodig gehad maar beide keren fantastisch en snel geholpen.
Via book- connect gebruik ik de info ook op mijn mac, heel simpel en erg handig!

Meest complete app
Er zijn meerdere apps om je boekencollectie bij te houden, maar dit is veruit de meest complete (Geloof me, ik heb er veel geprobeerd). Fijn om te zien dat er veel ontwikkeling nog achter zit en dat issues snel worden opgelost. Al meer dan 10 jaar een van m’n favoriete apps.

Best Book App Available
I have been using CLZ Books for 2 years now. I like the app very much, because I can create an overview of the books I own and the ones that I have read. Especially now that I use an E-reader, it is more difficult to remember exactly which books you own.
When I want to buy a new book, I can use the app to look up which writer I liked, because I can use the rating field to indicate with stars what I liked and didn't like. I also love the way you can organize your books: by author, by book, by genre.
For actual paper books, you add them by scanning barcodes, or when you search by title, you can see which editions exist and select from there.

Beste aankoop / best buy ever!!!
Having looked a very long time for an easy to use but professional app to store my military book collection by chance this gem popped up. Tried some other apps/programs in the past but this one will never leave. Tremendous good support, new functions multiple times per year and again: very easy usage. I am very verh happy with this app and with “book connect”!!

Nette database voor boeken
Gebruik deze app zodat ik weet welke boeken ik al heb digitale en echte boeken, makkelijk invoeren met scannen van streepjescode en ook handig handmatig in te voeren, bij vragen word er snel geantwoord en hulp aangeboden, top!

Super app en database
Er zitten inmiddels erg veel titels in de database. De database wordt bijgewerkt door gebruikers en uzelf. Ook is er een deel van de data privé. Handig voor trefwoorden, waarde tarieven etc.
Ik gebruik de apps vooral op iPad en iPhone. Werkt erg fijn.

Great App for Book Collectors
My previous book app was fantastic but the database seemed to revert sometimes to old outdated data. This app is an excellent replacement and you can choose to sync it automatically with the cloud so I know I am always working with the most up-to-date copy of my database. There are lots of fields to categorise all the information about each book to share with other owners of that book and additional data fields to add your own private notes. Very handy! It is also very customisable how you want to order and display your book library. I really only have one issue with this library is when you put in a book code it will sometimes find the book but with a totally different code. I do change it back to the one I have but am unsure if that messes anything up for other owners of that book.

Book Collector
Ik ben heel tevreden over de structuur en de mogelijkheden die mijn eigen MS-Acces-database mij biedt. Maar helaas is dit bestand niet toegankelijk op mijn iPhone en iPad.
Ik heb er lang over nagedacht of ik mijn boekenbestand ook wilde ontsluiten voor iPhone en iPad. Ik zag toch wel een beetje op tegen de tijdsbesteding die nodig is om gegevens over te zetten.
Eenmaal de knoop doorgehakt moet ik zeggen dat Book Collector echt een geweldig programma is.
Toevoegen van nieuwe data met barcode-scanner gaat geweldig. On the fly! Lekker snel.
Het programma werkt geweldig op PC-niveau.
De mogelijkheden op de tablet zijn nogal beperkt.
De mogelijkheid om barcodes direct in te scannen op de tablet (en ook op de iPhone) is echter zo geweldig dat ik wel kan leven met die mindere functionaliteit.

Goed en snel.
De software is erg snel en vindt de correcte boeken vrijwel direct op het moment dat de bar code gescand wordt.
Zelfs Donald Duck pockets worden gevonden.
Het kost een paar centen maar het werkt wel beter en vele malen sneller dan andere vergelijkbare apps die ik snel getest heb.

Eindelijk overzicht van mijn boekverzameling
Prima app waarmee je supersnel via scannen van het ISBNummer overzicht hebt over je boeken. Heb ook mijn ebooks erin gezet. Is heel fijn dat ik daardoor van die boeken ook een korte beschrijving van het verhaal heb.

Geweldig handig en effectief
Zeer handige app en programma op je PC, ik gebruik het op mijn iMac, altijd een overzicht van je boeken bij de hand. Ook makkelijk bij te houden welke boeken waar staan, huis, praktijk of universiteit, bijhouden wat je aan wie uitgeleend hebt. Handig toevoegen door via de app isbn nummer te scannen. Graag zou ik ook via de app willen registreren of een boek uitgeleend wordt of teruggebracht. Nu kan dat volgens mij alleen nog maar met de desktop versie. Echt een aanrader! En de licentiekosten heb je zo terug omdat je nu altijd overzicht hebt van je uitgeleende boeken.

met deze app komt een jarenlang gekoesterde wens om mijn boekenkast te catalogiseren uit. Alles wat ik wil vastleggen kan ik vastleggen. Als ik toch zou willen muggenziften dan zou ik een extra veld voor (uit)geleende boeken handig vinden. Ik verwerk dat nu bij aantekeningen en als ik ze van anderen (meestal de bib) leen dan verwerk ik dat bij owner.

Werkt goed en snel
Met de geïntegreerde barcode scan heb je alle nieuwere boeken snel ingevoerd. Alle boeken zonder barcode worden ook snel gevonden via handmatige invoer.
Met name de cloud synchronisatie functie is handig voor als je meerdere devices/gebruikers in huis hebt. Cloud synchronisatie werkt perfect. Functionaliteit is meer dan voldoende en ik kan ook zonder de desktop applicatie.

Goede app
Al enkele jaren maak ik gebruik van de desktop database. Ben erg blij dat de app er is gekomen. Een minpuntje, je kunt in de app niet zien of het een boek uit een serie betreft en zo ja, welk deel. Als ik 's avonds voor de boekenkast sta om een nieuw boek uit te kiezen, moet ik op internet kijken welk boek het volgende deel is uit de serie. Verder zeer tevreden!

Werkt goed, zelf nederlandse boeken van voor 1980 kan ik vinden.
Zou wel graag de mogelijkheid hebben om mijn database te backuppen in iCloud, dan 5 sterren.

Meer functionaliteit zou fijn zijn.
Aanvankelijk kon ik niet goed met dit programma uit de voeten. Jammer dat deze applicatie niet gebruikt kan worden om dingen toe te voegen. Maar daar wordt aan gewerkt, begrijp ik. Dan kan het prima uit de voeten met de iPhone 4 die als barcodescanner kan worden gebruik. Voor nu: vier sterren.

Meet functies nodig
Op dit moment is het alleen een lijst van de boeken in de pc applicatie. Dat is handig, maar niet zo mooi als wanneer er terugkoppeling zou zijn vanuit deze app naar de pc.
Stel ik sta in een boekenwinkel en kan direct wat ik zie op mijn wensenlijst zetten. Of dat boek wat ik net uit heb direct markeren. Dat zou het een 5 sterren app maken

Weinig voor veel!
Er worden weinig gegevens gegeven over boeken het meeste moet je zelf toevoegen. Nederlandse uitgevers hebben weinig tot geen afbeeldingen beschikbaar! Als je deze gegevens zelf nog moet toevoegen dan ben je per boek wel even bezig!! 1,5 ster voor dit programma, voor dit moment zeker niet meer!!! Weinig voor veel €7,99 plus €39,99. Maar wie weet kunnen de makers me nog blij maken......?
