2nd change worked well
During the first attemd I could not complete the payment as it would not allow to choose credit / debit cards.
I removed the app, set my iphone location to Brazil and redownloaded the app after which it worked fine.

Selecione o botão “Desbloquear Bike", aponte a câmera do seu celular para o QR Code localizado no guidão ou abaixo do banco da bicicleta, ou digitalize a chave localizada no adesivo do QR Code.
E com o app Bike Itaú você pode:
◉ Encontrar diversas estações próximas, buscando manualmente ou pelo GPS do seu celular;
◉ Encontrar vagas livres para devolver sua bicicleta na estação mais próxima. Você não precisa voltar para o local de partida;
◉ Salvar suas estações favoritas;
◉ Acompanhar seus passeios com GPS.

Does not work properly
Should be an easy way to use a bike, but it bounces you at a couple of times. My girlfriend was not able to click through the passport stuff at the beginning. For me it worked until I had to add a credit card, at that point the app just does not respond anymore. Nice service with the bike offering, but if the app doesn’t work it’s useless. Pitty

Slow and unreliable
The app is very slow and unreliable. Classical case of mismanagement. You cannot register through the app, only online! But they don’t tell you this on the app! Often jams when you try to reload credits into your account. It is a shame, completely lame.
