“Seems nice app, but I cannot make an account.”
After contacting the Support Service, I got a replay very quick. Now I can make an account and every seems to work well.

Aqara Home is an app for smart home automation and control. With Aqara Home, you can:
1. control Aqara accessories anywhere and anytime where there is Internet access;
2. create homes and rooms and assign accessories to the rooms;
3. control your Aqara accessories and check the status of connected appliances. For example:
*adjust the brightness of lights and check the power consumption of home appliances;
*monitor the temperature, humidity and air pressure;
*detect water leak, and human movement;
4. create Automations to automate your home. For example:
*set a timer to turn on or off an appliance connected to a smart plug;
*use a Door and Window Sensor to trigger lights: turn on lights automatically when the door opens;
5. create Scenes to control multiple accessories. For example, add a Scene to turn on multiple lights and fans;
6. ask Siri to control HomeKit supported Aqara accessories and user defined Scenes; Aqara Home app supports following Aqara accessories: Aqara Hub, Smart Plug, Wireless Remote Switch, LED Light Bulb, Door and Window Sensor, Motion Sensor, Temperature and Humidity Sensor, Vibration Sensor, and Water Leak Sensor. Solution for account creation issues
I did not receive the email with the verification code when registrering. To resolve this choose the mainland China region when signing up. Than change to your own region.

Unable to create account too
Same here Never got a verification code. So can not use the Aqara app. Only HomeKit is working

E-mail with code never arrives. Tried different email addresses with European server. HomeKit only is working.

Crashing
App is crashing for more then two weeks on my iPhone X. Latest updates did not fix it.

Love and irritated by it
Love the affordable Aqara devices and future non light bulb items. App works great and automations are simple to maken.
Onliest thing I hate is that my light switches, buttons and sometimes door sensor go offline (signal strong) and 1 light bulb refuses to upgrade from v0023.
Because of that I had to keep the manual switches in backup to get the lights on when the switches/sensors refuse to work again :(

Worst app ever
It doesn’t recognize the G2H camera with the qr-code. It says it isn’t supported. It doesn’t connet to your network. Make it work with the G2H camera please! This app needs a huge update!!!

Not compatible with the Aqara G2H camera
I’ve recently bought the new HomeKit enabled Aqara G2H camera. I got it working solely via HomeKit. Have not got it working with this Home app... after creating an account and logging in the camera appears in the settings > HomeKit > HomeKit devices (showing a little red dot). In that screen it shows the Aqara camera but with the notification right next to it “can not be found”.
I can also not add the camera itself via the Add Accessory screen as the menu does not even show any camera at all, as if these cameras are non existent. You can try to add all sorts of other sensors, remotes and switches but no camera whatsoever.
If the Home app does not support the camera, how can I even check for firmware updates?

Bad performance since firmware 1.6.1
Recently a single Aqara hub was sufficient to control all accessories in my home. After upgrade to firmware 1.6.1 no connection to some accessories. Poor zigbee network

the app update is horribly stuck. it also does not take over the data from HomeKit, so you can not use magic cube for example. bad app hopefully fast good update so magic cube can also be used and the app normally works with Homekit
