Worse app ever
This the worse app ever! Especially when you have an iPhone. I'm notgonna mention everything here, because in the reviews below you can read all the problems. For now I want to reset my watch, but make a backup first. But if I try to make a backup from the Galaxy Watch app (on iPhone 8), it says: "server error occurred. Press 'again' to try again". And this repeats on and on. Really?

Always disconnects on iPhone 12
This has got to be one of the worst apps ever developed. I have had many sumsung watches and with the new Galaxy Watch 3, I am for ever having to reset and start from scratch. I believe Samsung will move to the OS wearable software on news release watches …. It’s no wonder as this app is junk.

Since I have an iPhone 12 (my business Phone), I unfortunately am not able to use my Gear watch. The gear app does not reconize the geat watch. I read this is a common problem with IOS14. Is it possible to solve this. Thanks

App and watch are constantly trying to synchronize
Since the last update the watch Samsung S3 Gear Frontier and my phone Apple IPhone XsMax are constantly trying to connect. After some time it connected and hopefully it is solved

Could be better for iPhone users
IPhone users get a very basic app with almost no options.
I'm missing the automatic planner for the night time mode.
Also this mode doesn't disable itself when you wake up, like on the Samsung.

Some features work, some don’t (email, sending whatsapp etc). Also finding my phone (iphone) from watch does not work - wearable app on phone just gives one notification beep and that’s it (it should remain beeping).

Slechte app - laden duurt lang en werkt vaak niet
Het duurt echt heel lang om verbinding met je telefoon te maken en veel van de menuopties werken niet en blijven steeds hangen met de melding ‘laden’. Echt jammer, want de telefoon is fijn. Hoewel de widget ‘Trainen’ ineens verdwenen is na de laatste update en ik deze ook niet meer terug kan zetten. Echt teleurstellend.

gw and iphone not a fun combination
moved from a s10 to an iphone with my galaxy watch, the setup was harder to do, it can’t make the day with oad which was the case with my s10. it kees ringing when i already answered my with my phone and alarm notifications don’t work on the watch.

Galaxy Watch app werkt niet,wat nu?.
Sinds gisteren heb ik een nieuwe iPhone se 2020.
Alleen werkt de app niet ,de app ziet mijn Galaxy Watch niet.
Wat nu?.

Fantastisch
Heb de Galaxy Watch nu een maand in bezit en ben er zeer tevreden mee. Enige minpuntje is dat de stappenteller van de iPhone niet synchroniseert met de Galaxy Watch. Kniezorg wie daar op let want gebruik nu de stappenteller van deze app. Ook leuk is dat je iedere week of maand een andere wijzerplaat kan kiezen. Net alsof je steeds een nieuw horloge hebt. Accu houdt het 3-4 dagen vol. Verder veel gezondheidsfuncties waar ik ‘vroeger’ nooit naar keek en nu iedere dag. Kortom een fantastisch horloge en kan het u aanraden.

Foutmeldingen en geen ecg en bloeddruk
Sinds de laatste update en mijn nieuwe watch 3 krijg ik regelmatig een error code
Opnieuw opstarten van de app helpt maar ik moet dat wel vaak doen
Waar blijft de ecg en bloeddruk mogelijkheid? Er is geen health monitor te downloaden via de ios app store
Deze functies waren voor mij een van de zaken welke me heeft doen besluiten om de watch3 aan te schaffen en mijn gear s3 frontier weg te doen.

Unable to connect to iPhone
Galaxy watch 3 41mm isn’t able to connect to the galaxy wearable app. Every time I’m trying to connect my new watch it says that I should turn the Bluetooth off and on again, but I still doesn’t want to connect. The app does see the watch but can’t connect to it!

I have an Iphone8 (ios14.3) and the Samsung Galaxy Active 2. Watch will show all the notifications, accept whatsapp.. Which I wanted the most to be shown!
Also I can’t manage which notifications will be shown in the wearable app and which I don’t want to see on my watch.

Watch had on my s20ultra a good battery life! Now on my iphone 12promax 24 hrs and the battery is dead. Total drain of energy. Even when gps, always on turnes off all settings to minnimal or off. Now i just have a watch. Not a smart watch.

It doesn’t work with apple as goed as with Samsung
The clock does a lot, but also quite a lot minuses... The clock doesn’t pick WiFi from your apple telefoon, it did with Samsung. It doesn’t support messages and giving answers with apple, it did with Samsung. And so much more... what a pity... but I don’t want to change it... I just bought it, and then got an iPhone... so hope it will irk together very soon🙏🏻

Werkt slecht
Over gestapt op iPhone, altijd blij geweest met mijn horloge naar nu werkt hij slecht. Mega traag, gps werkt niet bij trainen, informatie over trainingen kloppen niet, niet eens een klein beetje. Meldingen van apps zijn niet per stuk aan te passen en zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan.
Als je als Samsung IOS niet volledig ondersteund vind ik ook dat je het niet mag gebruiken als Unique selling point!

For my new Galaxy Watch 3 I wanted to install the Spotify app, however it isn’t showed when I search for it. The same applies for Strava and Here Wego. In the advertisements for this watch Spotify is mentioned as one of the apps that is supported by the Galaxy Watch 3. What’s going wrong here?

Disappointed in this app. Although the Galaxy watch is connected via Bluetooth on my iPhone, the app cannot find it... once in a while the app connects with the watch but that only lasts for a few minutes...

Werkt minimaal met iOS. Heeft beetje MS DOS niveau. Zoekfunctie in de app werkt niet, kan alleen maar weer app regelen, heel veel reguliere functies praten niet heen en weer met horloge zoals WA, mail, agenda etc etc. Zeer slechte app en slechte compatibiliteit met iOS

I love my active 2 watch and the app functions well on the iphone, no bugs, it’s just a bit basic. I would like to see a more advanced ios version of the health app that is similar to the original. Including additional features like the period tracker for one.

Werkt helaas niet goed (genoeg) samen met IPhone
Jammer genoeg werkt de app beter samen met een Samsung als een IPhone. Wellicht met een update?!🙌🏼 je kan wel je appjes lezen en dan alleen verwijderen op je horloge. Dan staat ie nog steeds in je telefoon als ongelezen. Met Samsung kan je appjes beantwoorden en dat is best is makkelijk. Ook de app opzich op de Samsung telefoon geeft veel meer gegevens. Met name de wijzerplaten kan je veel beter zien op het home scherm van de app.
Dus het werkt wel, maar kan veel beter!

Absolutely useless
I ALWAYS have problems syncing my Gear S3 watch to my iPhone. This watch should not be sold being compatible with an iPhone because it is not! I have lost all my workout data three times already because I’ve had to reset the watch and connect “a new phone”. After the reset, it works a week or so and then the same problems occur all over again. While it is a nice looking device, I do not recommend this watch or this app!

Works well when it connects which it doesn’t very often
The app has trouble staying connected with the watch when the app is not actively open.
Since iOS 13 it does not seem to stay connected and the watch runs mostly in standalone mode.
Background refresh settings are on and Bluetooth connectivity works well. The app should receive a proper update for iOS 13.

Ik krijg geen berichten binnen van bv Whatsapp op mijn Samsung Galaxy watch. Ik heb een iPhone X in combinatie met de Samsung Galaxy watch 46mm. Is dit überhaupt mogelijk? Zo ja hoe?

Bummer. Really. I just love my watch but am really annoyed it’s not working properly with my iPhone app. It’s less than basic... no nfc, no mail, no real agenda....please make the combo as effective as with a Samsung phone...

Barely functional
The app constantly gets stuck with “Please check the status of your watch”. Sometimes it takes a few hours before it happens other times just a few minutes.
It used to work better before iOS 13.2. With 13.1 it was sometimes days between it happening.
I’ve tried the reinstall, reset & reconnect dance more times than I can count and it makes no difference. The thing that does work consistently (and which makes me think this is your app being broken) is force quitting the app and starting it again.
I knew that the Samsung Watch was feature limited on iOS but I wouldn’t have guessed that is close to useless.
While the Samsung Galaxy Watch thankfully is still a watch the features that need a phone (like getting notifications from the phone) are simply not usable.
