The fact that CéU might very well be the most beautiful girl in the world should not divert your attention from her music. This lady from Sao Paulo sings heaven-sent melodies in a wonderful, soothing voice. Her music shares the relaxing quality of her Nova (Electro) Bossa contemporaries, but has more stylistic variety to it. The album ranges from (slow) funky vibes in Malemolência and Ave Cruz via the lovely 10 Contados and hypnotizing Véu Da Noite to the more traditional and spine-chilling Valsa Pra Biu Roque. I've seen and heard her live, and I am convinced- CéU must be an angel.
