This Alice in Chains album has alot of acoustic songs wich I think are great sounding. The voices of Cantrell and Staley were just made for eachother. The melodies they sing are soothing an at the same time at sometimes very mean aswell wich is a great combination. A great example is Rotten Apple, the opening song. The verses bring you in some kind of trance and then when the chorus kicks in it just blows you away.

I Stay Away has strings on it. It makes it sound very epic and angry sounding with Layne's voice. No Excusses is an amazing song wich everybody needs to hear. This is just a classic song. It's also acoustic. It's a great singalong with nice melodies.

Don't follow is one of my favorite Alice In Chains songs. It has a quiet peacefull part sang by Jerry Cantrell (guitar) and it has a slight more agressive part sang ofcourse by Layne Staley.

All the other songs I didn't mentioned are also nice. It's a real short album but because of the quality of the songs I give it 4 stars.
